Wake up and smell the coffee!

We have hot tea available 24/7 in the dining room.  At 8:30a we offer freshly brewed organic coffee along with a house-made baked item du jour, hard boiled egg,  fresh  fruit and yogurt on request. Our in-house baker Samantha creates sweet breads such as banana/blueberry, pear /chocolate and more.  Some mornings we offer organic home-crafted bagels from local Ojai Bagel (with cream cheese, of course), inspired by the bagels of New York.

Our boutique hotel is conveniently located across from a variety of one-of-a-kind local restaurants. Guests love bringing their food back to the Lavender Inn and dining on our veranda overlooking the gardens, in various intimate spots in the garden, or in our dining or  library.

We love our local farmers!  Ojai Valley is known for it’s prolific produce including Ojai Pixie tangerines and other citrus, avocados, walnuts, olive oil, and,  ta-da: lavender!   You can purchase local products in town at Ojai’s Certified Organic Farmer’s Market on Sundays or at the Ojai Community Farmer’s Market on Thursdays.  True foodies can visit locally grown items at the source  –   Friends Ranch Pixies (tangerines) and Oranges, Ojai Olive Oil, and Heavenly Honey.  These items are also available in local shops, but it’s so fun to go onsite and check it out.  Ojai Olive Oil has fun tastings of their vast number of flavored oils and vinegars.

Vino

We offer complimentary white or red wine at 4:30pm daily!  Sip wine at your leisure in one of our quiet corners in the garden or in front of the fireplace on chilly evenings.  We have beautiful cheese boards and knives so you can create your own charcuterie by purchasing your items across the street at Rainbow Bridge.  Cheers!
