Wake up and smell the coffee!

Hot tea is available 24/7 in the dining room.  Each morning at 8:00a we serve freshly brewed organic coffee. From  8:30 to 9:15 continental breakfast is served with juice, fresh fruit, yogurt + fruit + housemade granola on request, and a house-made baked item of the day.  Our in-house baker Rhys creates freshly baked specialty breads in our kitchen: : Banana  Bread, Banana Bourbon Choc Chip, Pumpkin (with or w/out choc chip), Lemon-Blueberry, Carrot Apricot, Zucchini and Orange Cranberry.Scones:  Cherry Lemon, Almond Apricot, Cran-Lemon, Dried Persimmon with Lemon Zest, Pixie Tangerine Zest with Raisins, Currents  with Lemon Zest Other:  Caramelized Apple Fritter,  Focaccia,  Cali Orange Bread, Lemon Sourdough Cake, Plum Almond Upside down cake, Persian Love cake, Citrus Olive Oil cake,  Apple Cake, Apple Cider Coffee Cake.  We offer gluten-free baked items and granola.  Please note that our kitchen is not allergy-free and may contain or come into contact with nuts, gluten, dairy, and other common allergens; we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination. 

Dining Nearby

Our boutique hotel is ideally located near Ojai’s best dining! Favorite restaurants walking distance include Nocciola, The Duchess, Rory’s Place, Ojai Rotie, The Nest (lunch.  Sea Fresh, Boccali’s, and Jimmy’s Pub, and The Oak both located at the Ojai Valley Inn are all just a quick drive by car or trolley.  In nearby Meiners Oaks, we recommend Farmer and the Cook, Noodle Haus, and Papa Lennon’s. 

Directly across the street from Lavender Inn is Rainbow Bridge which has ready-made hot food, and healthy-oriented groceries. Many guests love to bring their food back to the Lavender Inn and dine on our garden veranda, in cozy outdoor seating areas, or inside our dining room or library.

Local Food

We love our local farmers! Ojai Valley is known for its exceptional produce, including Pixie tangerines, citrus, avocados, olive oil, walnuts, and of course—lavender. Shop local at Ojai’s Certified Organic Farmers’ Market (Sundays) or the Ojai Community Farmers’ Market (Thursdays).

For a deeper taste of the valley, visit local producers like Friend’s Ranch Pixie Tangerines, Ojai Olive Oil, and Heavenly Honey. While their products are available in town, visiting in person for tastings—especially at Ojai Olive Oil—is a fun and memorable experience.

Vino

We offer complimentary white or red wine at 4:30pm daily!  Sip wine at your leisure in one of our quiet corners in the garden or in front of the fireplace on chilly evenings.  We have cheese boards and knives so you can create your own charcuterie by purchasing your items across the street at Rainbow Bridge.  Cheers!
